Profile

I was the first British student in over 60 years to graduate from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in the Russian program. Consequently, I have learnt to be adaptable, resilient, and independent. When I joined the Academy at age 13, I was unable to speak the language, but I am now fluent in both written and spoken Russian. Alongside studying at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, I also took courses with Stanford University Online High School, which is a program for gifted and talented students. All of this has taught me how to be disciplined and how to work hard at whatever I set out to do. In my earlier student years, I studied music to a high level at the Royal College of Music in London. The skills that I learned enabled me to combine my musicality and creativity, to have successfully choreographed pieces for the Bolshoi Ballet Academy graduation exams in 2022. They have invited me to choreograph for a future state exam.
